Music Action International have been the chosen for prestigious Change Makers award from the Southbank Centre.
Southbank Centre invited the public to nominate ‘Change Makers’: people who are committed to changing the lives of those around them.
Organisations were chosen from across the UK who have tirelessly put time and energy into innovative projects, however big or small, that transform people’s lives and inspire others.
As part of Southbank Centre’s Festival of Love, Change Makers inspires through talks, performances and workshops, led by people who have made a positive difference to the lives of those around them.
Last year we celebrated our achievement with a live performance from our group of teenage refugees and asylum seekers Everyday People: LDN. You can meet these young people at the Southbank Centre in our short film.
Southbank Centre’s Change Makers stand as inspiring examples of how to harness creativity, innovation, courage and determination for the common good.
