This group in Manchester is facilitated by amazing musician, Emmanuela Yogolelo from DRCongo, singing with people who have escaped conflict in their home country. We share songs from Iran, Egypt, Sudan, Syria and Liverpool along with local musicians who come to join in and learn new music in different languages.
Crisis Choirs performed their beautiful and uplifting songs to the local community in December, including other refugees who were so happy to hear familiar tunes from their home countries.
The room was filled with music, love and real joy from people who have lost everything and are living such challenging lives right now. Meet some of the people sharing their music with us in our beautiful photo gallery below.
