Soltane is a famous, beautiful, catchy Persian folk tune by Aref.

Our version of Soltane Ghalb’ha is performed in three languages:
• Persian (Farsi)
• Kurdish
• Arabic

We can show you the song in its original script so you can see waht other alphabets look like, as well as with phonetical words so English speakers can pronounce them, translated by our wonderful music facilitators Babak, Iman and Badr.

The song expresses themes of longing, uncertainty, separation, and hope. It celebrates the shared experiences and cultures of people from different countries.

This video is divided into a few chapters. Once you’ve learned the first few sections, you can sing the whole song together as many times as you can in the final chapter!
