We are so pleased that you are joining our movement to transform lives of ordinary people affected by war, torture and conflict.
Here at Music Action International, we see every day that music can be used to spread a message of hope and positivity. We want to connect individuals and communities across cultural, political and religious divides. There is nothing more powerful than bringing people together.
Whatever you are planning, we would love to hear from you. Please contact email@example.com and we’ll give you all the help you need to make your fundraiser a success!
What event should I put on?
Of course there’s hundreds more ideas like afternoon teas, coffee mornings, head shaving and scavenger hunts. Whatever you’d have the most fun doing, we’d recommend you go for it!
We’ve teamed up with JustGiving to make it safe, quick and easy for you to collect online donations from friends and family across the world. You can set your own fundraising target to track your progress and let your supporters know how your fundraising efforts are coming along.
A really great way of raising more money is to get the public behind you. Promote your event or fundraising efforts on all your social media channels, and ask your friends to share or retweet. If you send us details, a poster for your event or a link to your fundraising page, we may be able to share them on our own social media pages.
To date, our incredible fundraisers have helped us raise thousands of pounds to make a difference.
Here are some of the inspiring fundraiser who has raised funds for us:
Bradley joined the Music Action International team on his student placement from the University of Manchester. As well as providing amazing support with a variety of tasks in the office, he took on Manchester’s famous 10k run.
If I can make it all the way with a training plan consisting of beer and takeaways, you definitely can! – Bradley, Volunteer
Don’t forget to send us photos of your event, which we can include in our newsletter or on our social media so our supporters can see what you’ve done and to inspire others.

We are a small charity based in Manchester, working locally and internationally. Any money you donate will directly support: refugees and asylum seekers affected by Covid-19, torture survivors to overcome trauma through the power of music and employment and specialised training with refugees.
